| This is great - the old look, the muted colors - I like this a lot. I don't really think of sewing as a trend, but the way you present it here with the old equipment strengthens the connection. Something probably should have been done about the window and the background, even if you were going for that candid look. |

| Well, I'm sure others have made the obvious comment. This could so nearly have been a fabulous photograph: its snap-shot-y look doesn't work for me though. A slightly different angle to frame out that window and you'd have near-perfect lighting conditions. Whilst it doesn't realy look out of focus exactly, it is perhaps so blurred that it might as well be. |

You do realize she's not sewing, she's spinning, right? Specifically, making yarn/thread from raw fiber.
Sorry. Fiber artist. :-> For the image itself ... it's kind of grainy and not all that well-focused, but I'm betting that's a camera limitation from the ambient lighting condition (since it's exactly what MINE does in those settings!). |
