Taken in the little time we had free (my wife adn I. She was showering and I got the idea for the shot. Had too make here freeze without any water to avoid fogging up the lens (not too mention the inner electronics). She was a great sport and played along.

PP: RAW conversion, crop, levels, curves, hue/sat, channel mixer to B/W, add noise, some more levels. Resized usm and a bitmore noise.

I tried the gothic glow filter on this but liked th emore photojournalistic look of this one.

Very nice pic, well done. I see a few comments that want the pipe removed from the photo. I disagree. I'd actually prefer to see a bit more of the pipe to give the shot a bit more context. This is not a studio shot and strives to tell a story, so elliminating enviromental elements is contradictory to its purpose.

Crop of the pipe please. I like the mood of the picture and that it is in B&W.

Idea is good but you should have avoided the pipe one the left.

The pipe on the far left is a bit distracting for me. I like the lighting and framing. - 7

I love this image. Judi?
A crop at the left side would have helped.

Nice, but the light is just a bit too harsh above her head. Without that, she would stand out a lot more. Nice pose and great idea!

Hi. Nice lighting. My only comment would be to crop out the pipe on the side (or include a little more of it).

A tighter crop to remove the radiator pipe may have given a better composition?

Love the feel of this image, she looks like she could have been lost in thought for a long time...
My only niggle is the pipe on the left, slightly distracting

The chair leg (?) on the far left detracts from the image. Brave model, though!

Total picture don't portray brokeness...the subject being wet confuses. Beautiful subject though...

I think I'd either have more pipes showing, or crop out the one that is barely visible to the left. Nice use of black and white. She certainly is sad!
