Didn't really want to cut part of the cyclist head off but not much choice as there wasn't any more in the image!!

great colours!

I think just too much motion without a point of interst that is less blurred

Too much blur everywhere imo, with the rider sharper could've been really effective.

Too much blur

Lots of motion blur, but nothing in sharp focus.

I think this is a great image - i love the color & sense of motion. I'm not sure it's best for panning though - I sort of expected to see the ground motion-blurry (as it is), but the guy in complete focus.

To be successful, the subject needs to be sharp and just the background blurred.

The subject has too much motion blur

Too bad that the subject in the foreground is not sharp.

Good points for meeting the challenge, and panning. Subject blur probably won't help you with voters, bit I like the action.

He's too fast, it looks as if he's hitting warp speed and the light is becoming blurred.

Good lighting and colors. My guess is that you may have panned the camera too slowly.

as both the rider and the background are quite blurred it doesn't really achieve the pure motion panning technique. A pity as the colours and the subject would be spot on

Nice colors. Pretty good attempt at a difficult challenge. Would be better if subject were sharper, try matching the motion more exactly and/or slightly faster shutter speed.

I think it would be more effective if the cyclist were in focus a bit more. Love the vivid colors.

Wish a bit more of your subject were in focus. Good example of motion panning.
