Taken right down the road from where I live. I take a lot of shots in this area. A LARGE farm here. HUGE barn, but it looks contemporary and not really too barn like, so I chose the house. HUGE pasture and many horses usually all gathered around one bale of hay, but it was nice to get a few near the back of the house this time. This house is HUGE too, and you are looking at the back. The front is on a road and you can't really see the pasture. The back is more country like. I just felt this was the best capture of this particular land, and for this contest. This truly depicts country in my neck of the woods. A RICH country family though. :)

Nice use of duotone, beautiful white horse. There isn't a huge wow factor going on in this photo though, therefore guessing mid-table

Nice unique treatment to the colour and tones. It would have been less interesting or commonplace if it hadn't been for that.

The tinting reminds me of fall. I like it although the color is the same throughout

I like the picture's compostion and subject matter. Not sure I'm as fond of the post processing, though. Matter of personal taste.
