The ever-green days of playing in my school's playground like there was no end to time seems like the best trend to me. Feeling Like a soccer hero when I strike past a puny little goalkeeper, the trees waved to applaud me.

... and when I returned after 7 years to shoot this image, they were still applauding...

(Adjusted the HSV of the entire image to show only green.)

Your comment on this pic turned the image into beauty. Nice thoughts and words and memories indeed.

What is the trend?

The sky is way blown out. What was the "trend" you were going for here? I'm missing it.

Interesting..

The partial desaturation looks good here, though the sky is a bit blown out... I'm not sure what trend you're trying to get across here, I'm thinking about the ball on the floor but... Otherwise a good shot - 6

Nice idea, but there is too much light at the sand and in the air. Take attention and it will improve your shot.

I don't really get this. And boy, is that sky ever blown out. Maybe you could have shot it from a different angle and eliminated the sky.

interesting take on the trend idea, i would have liked this photo a bit better if the sky wasn't so blown out

Very interesting use of color/desaturation! I don't get the trend, but it's a powerful photo anyway.

Soccer, I think. Definately a trend in the U.S. Other countries, everything...

I didn't understand this one.. as far as I can see there is no trend.. Image looks over exposed due to bright sky above the trees..

Intriguing: though I find this selective desaturation technique a touch obvious now, and often used to make a dull photo more intersting. This does have a remoteness and desertedness that appeals though - and the over-exposure is well done. It's like a strange dream scene. No idea what to score it though ... :-)

Maybe I'm thick but I don't get the 'trend' here.

seems over exposed, really bad at the top. Mabey that is the effect you were going for, but I think it takes away from the image.
