I totally disagree. A more defined dog shape would completely destroy this image for me. There's something very poetic about it the way it is. It's alluding to action, to a complete self-conscious moment. I really don't understand how some people would demand the "obvious." Yeah OK, if you could make out the dog a bit more, then yeah, it's a photo of a dog shaking water out of its fur. But then it's a photo of a dog, and nothing more. How about the intangibles? How about the part of the image-making process that requires the viewers to THINK a bit?
Don't change a thing...that's just my two pence.

| I love the action here, but wouold have liked to have been able to make out the dog just a bit more. |
