A tribute to my Olympus C-4000Z, on the 14th of February, 2006 my new dSLR camera arrived... so I hope this one will do well.
I made hundreds of photos until I ended up with satisfaction. I would like to say special thanks to my Mum, who had endless patience with me messing up the room with honey! I was holding the camera on a box and with my left hand, I was pouring the honey - it wasn't really easy, to tell the truth. :-) I ate so much honey during the shooting, that I can't look at it for months... eeeeek, I got honey-sick!! :-))
Lighting: 2 table lamps from the 2 sides, a white(!!!) cardboard as background. I got it grey by playing with the shadows. I hope I had success with making it more dynamic with the relatively long shutter.
Post processing:
- crop and resize
- auto levels
- auto contrast
- sharpen edges
- levels (masters > darken the darks with about 14%)
- neat image
- unsharp mask (45%, 0.9 pixels, 5 levels)
