 This is from my kitchen. The stained-glass window is something I made from an antique fireplace screen. The family room on the other side gets alot of light and hence the glass glows at certain times of the day.

Unfortunately, the angle I had to take this image at was tough, so I expect that will get beat up for my composition. The effect I was looking for was to have subtle, muted tones on everything except the window. To do this, I added saturation to the window, and desaturated everything else. I also, cropped the image and sharpened the entire image a little. I removed a leaf on the far right, that looked out of place. Finally, I used Noise Ninja to minimize the noise.

Love the arrangement here. It would be even better if that galvanized metal jug had been all inside the composition. Nevertheless, a gentle, pleasant still life.

I like this image. It could have scored even higher if it had a bit more 'punch'. More contrast in PP would have helped.
