Looks to me like you need to clean your room! (oops sorry that was the mom in me!) Sorry, but that was the impact of the photo for me, the messy room, not the red on the screen.

I didn't like this photo at first, but when I went back, I thought it was brilliant go figure. Great job in my book. I think the composition is perfect, your eye just zeros into the monitor and if you try and look anywhere else, you end up right back at the monitor.

nice use of Red! Now this is using red to lead the eye. That was the challenge! Good job. Now, get some photos up on those walls!

I was hoping someone would do something like this, i'm awaiting the complaints in the forums about the dominant tone! :) If you could still reduce the aperature even more to get a longer exposure you might be able to get rid of the light band across the monitor. More screen refreshes would even it out.
