 Took a drive through southern New Jersey and ended up stumbling upon this farm just outside of Princeton. Snow was really coming down and it was hard to keep the lens clear.

Edit: I first submitted this shot with no title ... after parusing a few shots in the archives I came accross Fairyland by Heida (loved the shot) and consequently my untitled shot got it's name!

From the Critique Club:

The image is overall nicely done. But some of the problems for me are with the fences. They are leading the viewers eyes up and away out of frame towards nothing of any detail. The lack of any available light makes the photo overall seem flat and less detailed. Maybe a different point of view shooting through the fences towards the buildings would have helped. Still a nice image.

Love the lines here with the road and fences... pulls you right back into the houses. The falling snow adds a neat touch too.

I like the angle and composition. Had there been more light I would have scored it higher. The black sunken ditch keeps drawing my attention away from other parts of your image.

I think you did a great job of keeping your photograph on topic. Nice picture throughout but find the dark road?? a bit distracting would of like to have seen it with a little more detail.

Nice shot. There's something about the composition I like and something I don't but I can't place it. Subdued colors are fantastic. Nice shot.
