I think there is almost too much space at the top. Had it been possible to fill the frame up with the lights and beams, I think it would have been more effective, and more obvious what you were trying for.

Excellent shot of an excellent ballpark. Definitely fits the challenge in a way I hadn't thought of. The light in the lower right corner is a slight distraction in an otherwise flawless shot.

zoom in so not to immediately identify what it is

needs a good crop!

I think I see the challenge here... The misty/smokey air with the lights shinning thru? Great concept, but I thought the execution missed. A closer crop without so much sky and that light in the lower right might have been a more interesting shot. But that's just me :)

What is the transparent object? At best, a VERY loose interpretation, as far as I can see. I am guessing, but is your "transparency" the light streams from the stadium lights? (too loose for me) For example: if this was through regular glass, prove it with water droplets or the like. If I am wrong, I apologize now.

interesting idea for transparency, i think it could have been even better if there was something visable behind the light (like clouds or the moon or something).

wow. this is great! I'm at a loss as far as transparency is concerned though. Is there a net or something? 7

I don't see anything transparent here... if the 'atmosphere' created by the lights as suggested by your title is the transparency, I don't think it's a good interpretation of the challenge... = 3 - jmsetzler
