 My Wife is learning to knit with a group from our church. Their project is knitting little blankets for newborns at the local Women's Pavilion. I'm so proud of her for putting a desire to make a difference in this world to action.

Nice idea. Bad and harsh lighting. Try natural lighting or defusing your flash.

crochet seems blurry on right side, shadows too harsh from flash, coloring seems off also

Your images makes me smile, as I it makes me think of my mother and her needlework. Had there been a bit more saturation, more focus and maybe some darker contrasting shadows, I would have scored this higher. I like the composition.

This one would be OK for diligence, too, it's an unique one. I like the composition, but because of the lighting (flash?) there are some strong shadows which would be better to avoid.

need to work on your clarity. perhaps try unsharp mask in photoshop. recommend a setting of 240, 1.4, 0
perhaps would've tried increasing saturation as well, as the colours are a bit muted
