Just stumbled on this, more than 2 years since it was taken, and 2 years since the last comment. Just had to tell you that it really speaks to me........wonderful emotions, of an era long since gone, and of rock solid values, devotion, real beauty. It's a stunning photograph, so evocative and powerful in it's ability to provoke emotions in me. I love it.

Oh my GOSH...I've got to remember this!!! I am doing a scrapbook on my family tree and I have several very old bibles. This has such emotion and is MUCH better than my stark, boring, emotionless dead-on centered photos of the bibles! WONDERFUL job!!! And the touch of sepia really makes it!

Congrats on top 20 Sue. The background is a bit busy. I think if it were just plain black, this would have rated a bit higher. Either way, it's a nice fitting tribute to your grandma.
