 Took this with a make-shift soft box involving two boxes, two t-shirts, and a desk lamp. Setup was fairly basic, put light through one t-shirt onto the objects below that were on the other t-shirt. It was surprising how long it takes to fold a proper heart out of money though, and for those of you that are wondering, those are $1 bills.:) Post processing is as follows:
- Auto Levels
- More levels to tweak what the auto did
- Curves
- Brightness and contrast adjustments
- Desat of blue and cyan channels
- Increased sat on all other channels
- The almighty USM
- Crop
- Resize
- Save for web

Hope you like it, it was fun to shoot this one. Any comments and/or suggestions would be more than welcome.

This is a good idea. The composition and placement of the money is good. I think you could have placed the bill-hearts a litle bit better so we could see the shape of the heart better. I'm not sure if it is just my monitor but I can see some shades at the back. Probably from the cloth that the money is lying on. Next time you could try to use a thick paper instead of cloth. You will get much smoother surface for your shut. Other than that this is a fun picture and a good idea.

Nice Picture. About the only thing I can offer is nitpicky at best: I think the background should be one solid color (it appears to be some sort of cloth...muslim?) and the nickle in the back, just to the right of the dollar bill on the right needs some polishing (told you they were nitpicky ;)

Cute folding. I think it could be improved with just the bills and not the coins, both in terms of composition and matching the title (not too many people greedily desire pennies!)

Interesting concept. The gray in the background draws away from the image, but again, it is a good idea.
