The theme of your photo seems, sad, and the imposed post processing to 'make it darker' is good, however I think it is still clear that it is a really bright day. Hence really dark and really overexposed parts. The subject/ scene I find very interesting, yet I think I the bright /dark patches distracting to the subject. But what do I know.
I do think there is lots of potential in this shot. keep up the effort.

Absolutely astonishing. Very emotional, and fits this challenge very well. The Shadows of the trees give off a dreary sense, along with the girl crying at the tombstone. Very well done. - 10

Excellent contrast. Love the theme you chose. A cemetary is a dark place, but the light and the child makes it less somber. Wish I could vote!!! I'd rate it a 10.

Wonderful picture. Did you use a diffuse glow for this? I love the marble look of everything

I like the idea, i like the soft focus for emotion, but i find the over exposed background distracting.

Dramatic presentation and the title is excellent...it makes you think...two contrasts: the shadows and light...and life and death...I guess this is IR, really good shot...one of my top picks...

To me this was so close to being a great shot.. We needed to see some details in the face though.. what do we get? A black blob...
