Sax Solo? It's a trumpet. Good image though.

That's one weird looking sax...!

With the exception of the loss of detail in the higher zones and the dark line running down the hand, this remains an exceptional and strong capture.

Sax? C'mon, that's OBVIOUSLY a guitar. :-)
This looks a touch over processed for my taste (around the hands, left arm) and maybe a little blown out on the trumpeter's right shoulder.

Attention to detail starts with the title... I'm sure you've had lots of comments already about that already but it's important to musicians. Some strange textures here like NeatImage gone wrong.

You've probably heard this already but that is a trumpet, not a sax. Good composition and focus on subject. Great colour tones. Something strange looking about the edges of his hands and left arm.

nice capture of improvisation. That is a trumpet though :)

I would say that is trumpet/coronet not saxophone.

Nice portrait. Just wondering, where's the sax??? LOL. Well done.

Well, this is actually a trumpet, not a sax, nice photo though ;)

I like your image and choice of duotones. There's something...odd...about the line around the hands themselves that make them appeared cut-outs or something.

I like the shot but isn't that a trumpet?

Ok, the obvious - why call it "Sax solo" when it's a trumpet being played?

Um, thats not a sax, it's a trumpet.

That's definitely not a sax. More like a trumpet or flugelhorn.

I wanted to comment on the hands which looked unnatural to me, judging from the halo on left hand's forefinger it looks to be caused by too strong of an unsharp mask?

It's a really nice capture of a soloist however. Good capture of his emotion and concentration.

Maybe show more of the instrument, and I don't like the black outline of the hand and right side of the shirt. (By the way, that's a trumpet not a sax)

Funny-looking "sax" there...it looks a lot like my trumpet
;-)
The dark line around his hand by his shirt looks odd.

Um, that is a trumpet. Nicely shot, though, although the highlights are a bit blown on his right arm and the background is a tiny bit distracting.

If it's a sax solo, why is he playing a trumpet?

Nice conversion to duotone. Interesting photo; great subject. I bet you get a lot of comments on the title too; but it's unimportant. The image is strong and well done.
