I had one just like it! :o) You may have heard this already, but you should have cropped the hand, and gotten more of the player. |

Ha, talk about old school. Great lighting and focus. The color of the background is brilliant and makes for a very nice contrast. The composition I'm not too fond of, seems that the walkman & tape should be the focus of the image, moreso than the hand holding it, so I think it'd have better impact if the entire walkman was visible. There is impact with the focus being on the walkman's contest with the Journey tape being so prevalant but when I look at the image my eyes tend to wander and see the hand taking up a large portion of the photo. Very nice idea! I gave a 6 |

Oh man, it was so cool. I remember the day (must have been 6 or 7) when the first guy at school got a walkman for christmass. We all wanted one.
Now with an itsy bitsy tiny mp3 player, able to hold 50+ 90 minute casettes and able to find your fav song within 10 seconds.... In 20 years we connect a wire to an unused part of our brain and upload the whole world database. :) |

Great idea, and very authentic looking... but I would have preferred seeing the entire walkman in the shot. |

Nice shot and choice. I would have titled it differently but that's got nthing to do with the photograpghy so no deduction there.
My title choice; "Don't Stop Believin'" |

great choice of subject and the cassette in the machine is right, but the composition is wierd...it seems to be more about the thumb...lighting seems a little harsh as well |
