 Lit with a single Bowens 500 monolight and with a 1x1m softbox. The models name is Unnur Eva, some of you might recognize her as she is a member here. She is a makeup artist and the only one I know so I asked her if she could help me out in the challenge, both with the makeup and as a model and with the clothing. All I had to do was to pretty much show up with a camera so lot´s of credit go to her. Anyway, she did admirably on all accounts as far as I am concerned and if this does miserably in the challenge, I´m the one to blame. Also many thanx to her hubby and son who came along as assistants.

Anyway, lots of processing on this one. Cropped it rather heavily, blurred out the backround with "lens blur", darkened the wall she is sitting on, healing brush, clone stamp tool and finally curves to increase contrast and sharpen after resizing.

This was a lot of fun to do, I just love taking my studio lighting outdoors. This was shot shortly after sunset and the only light affecting this shot is the one from the softbox, I could definately get used to this over using speedlights and transmitters.

A true eighties shot, the pose, the clothes and the surroundings very true to the theme, well thought out image. So close to getting third! Better luck next time Lárus!

I think there are too many disturbing things in the for- and background.. the model is well pictured though.
