I like the use of all shapes and sizes in the girls...Bravo! There is just too much to take in for one shot, however.

A neat idea. I wish the lighting was a little warmer and the crop a little tighter. I would have either moved or cropped the girl on the far left and cut the picture at the end of the pool cue. 7 for effort.

Interesting pic, but it looks like it's been squashed a bit in resizing or maybe it's just the angle, but there's something about it that seems out of proportion.

This looks like it was fun to shoot. You did a good job getting enough light to such a big area... often you will see excessive light drop off, esp. with a flash. It is a bit busy, though, without a dominate subject to capture the eyes... still, that is probably why I looked at it for so long.

interesting group - realistic - good choice to have the pool table in the shot..

Nice job getting them all to pose. The flash lighting highlights the table more than the people, perhaps cropping off the bottom third of the image. Also cropping closer on the sides might make it seem like the party is extendng off the frame.

Gosh. The dresses haven't changed much from my era have they. LOL...Too bad that none of these girls picked a gown that fit them very well. They all look a bit frumpy other than the one sitting to the right in the green. But I don't like the halter tie to the neck. Very outdated in my opinion. Well, the photo shows fashion for sure, and I do like the setting and the capture. I like that no one is really looking directly at the camera as well, and everyone is talking or doing something in the shot. So kudo's and points for that!

the pool table is taking too much focus away from the students.

Its a little bit messy set up. And the light is not realy flattering. Its more a snapshot during a party then a fashion shot.
