When the duotone adds to the image, I up the score and this is the case with this one. Nice composition.

You've captured this well. I felt it looked cold even before I read the title. The only suggestion I can think of would be to have bumped the frame up to square off the top of the tree in the frame, but I'm pretty anal about stuff like that.
