Thanks for the comments and the chuckle. Seem to know your horses - this shot now fits into "every photo tells a story". I think you're spot on, I think it all had something to do with an apple (possibly a little favoritism too). |

Great capture!!! I find it, even as an equine specialist, very hard to capture the peak of the horse language moments. A lot of times the horses are just in the way of the picture more than I can't see it coming. These two know each other very well indeed, Mr Chestnut got upset at Mr Bay for something and told him so but Mr. Bay knew just how far to "step" to get out of the way! Nice crop too!
Edit to add: I would have scored this much higher than I did your entry in CLII.

Great capture with beautiful colors and cute word play on the title!
Their coats are gorgeous. Our horses have their winter coats...they look pretty shaggy right now. |
