Lovely, Sonja! I really liked this shot! I thought it would be much higher in the scores. It was one of my favorites!

I like the coloring on this, and the use of backlighting/silhouette.

A wonderful shot:) the sepia works well here and the young lady does give the feeling of joy. I feel the spirit of the shot. the one thing that hurts this for me is what appears to be extra fabric hanging from her dress. still an 8 from me:)

Oooh this is lovely!
The contrast between the silhouette and the striking, cloud-filtered sunlight is beautiful!
Position of the little girl within the frame doesn't feel quite balanced and the position of the knee/ leg at the lower right looks a little strange - might be better straight down like the other leg.
Poles at lower left are a minor distraction, not a real problem.

Sillhouette and sun work wonders here! Looks kinda like Wyoming!

The concept bares witness in my heart, since I believe strongly in doing so. (I did a whole lot more of it when I was younger though.)
The bg sky is a perfect setting, and the color and exposure are good. For the most part I like the composition, but I think it would be a more dramatic image if the legs and feet of the hilariously joyful dancer were included. Especially since they are an important element in dance.
All in all you have inspired me. :-) + 8

wow, i love skies like this. I have a few "rays of snshine" skies myself, but i never had such a great shadow to put in front :) it meakes a great composition to have this girl in a dress there. There's a stray little pixel in the middle there, but i guess you saw that yourself (and couldn't do a thing about it.. doh) , great shot. 8

Wonderful shot. Excellent lighting. What can I say that would improve this picture even more? It would have to be the streetlight and the Power Pole in the bottom. Would have angled up a little more to get rid of them. Your idea is just wonderful. Nice use of Gods Light. :-)

I wish she the sky were a little bit brighter on the left side of the picture. Her shadow blends in to the clouds and, in this case, I think it would be even more effective if there was a bit more, well, contrast over there. Still, I like the photo very much.

I like this a lot, the sky is amazing, too closely cropped on the bottom.

well i just commented and does not seem to have gone through...grrrr...
any way I really like the movement and exuberance your shot conveys. Not only in the girl but the sky seems to have that feel too, nice capture.
