My favorite.." is prefect entry into the Duotones challenge. My first impression of the image is that I really like it, much like some of the other voters out there. Not a bad placement in such a huge challenge. It really can be intimidating when you see over 600 entries, but you held your own.
The image itself is striking because the perspective is different and just grabs your attention. The composition is just lovely. Nice choice of tones, I think black and white would have made the image very cold and sterile. I think technically this is a great shot to have taken. The DOF immediately give the viewer an idea that hey this is a common item from my perspective, which is what a good photo should say. I really don't see anything I would do differently. Good work and I look forward to seeing your future pieces. |

Nice choice of angle; gives this uninteresting piece of furniture an element of "interestingness". I think the DOF is nice too, gives the perspective more character somehow. Well done! |

One of the best examples I've seen of taking a rare point-of-view of an everyday object. It is also a very fine tribute to the artistry of the chair's designer/builder. Great idea, well executed. 7. |
