Altoids stacked up. the annoying white things are reflections from my black background. No amount of noise reduction helped. Tried different setups to eliminate it, ugh. I pretend they are stars. :-)

Nice use of negative space. The harsh light seems intentional and works for your theme nicely.

Well , I like where you placed the subject and the feeling of space around it gives it the 'alone' feel, I am not sure however what that subject is nor do I find it holds my attn. for long. Another words I find it low in wow factor, sorry. I do like the little white speckles.

Your light source seems to be quite harsh, and could be toned down quite a bit. All of those specks distract from the main subject. If they are lint or dust cleanliness can't be stressed enough. If your baclground is farther back from the subject some of the spots will go away. Experiment with less light and longer exposures. 4

Too bad you could not "clone" out the white spots for the competition..but very neat shot and excellent "contrast". thanks
