Shot in a small strip mall in the 9th ward that was heavily damaged by Hurricane Katrina. Everything in the photo is how It was when I arrived upon the scene.

Dustin,

You should check out the website of a photographer named Chris Jordan. His "Laid to Waste" series has a photgraph of this same shop front. A friend o mine is actually considering buying the photo (not cheap, either) and when he showed it to me, I remembered seeing yours in this challenge. Weird coincidence. I kind of prefer your shot to his.

Here's his URL:

I wish I had my camera when I drove through there in December. St Bernard, 9th Ward, Biloxi all in horrible shape. What struck me when I was there was all the messages written on the outside walls of people's homes not to mention the strange codes most likely indicating which houses are to be gutted or demolished. Oh wait, back to your photo...

Really nice photo. Love the detail. and the human outline is very eery.
