OK - magic soap bubbles are fairly transparent. Here is an attempt to play with the light relfecting through a large magic soap bubble that we blew into the air just before shooting the picture. Slow-synch flash used to get light effects from some living room decorations. Another thing was also to get the sharp/unsharp contrast right by using the bubble. To create very large soap bubbles, cut up a plastic bottle and use this as the ring to blow the soap through. Fun stuff!

Nice shot, but I'd have preferred not to see her chin cut off.

I think having the face entirely in the picture would have made this look less like you accidentally cut her chin off (I assume you did it on purpose). I like the blurred look of the background, and I assume those little jellybean pieces of lights are other bubbles? karmat

Too bad her face wasn't framed in the shot better. Her chin is cut off at the bottom. The surrounding lights are distracting. Did you have enough resolution to crop in closer?

Nicely done. I like the light effects around the bubble, but not so much in the background, but probably couldn't have one without the other, so it's a push. Photo 8 Transparency 8 total 8 swash

This is quite interesting :) I don't much care for the composition of the photo but I am really impressed with the motion on the bubble and the nice sharp focus on the person behind it. That is a really neat effect. = 7 - jmsetzler

The movement in this is a neat effect. Your white balance should probably have been set for incandescent to adjust to ambient color.

great set up. the heads too low. nice timing.

I think the face should be centered in the bubble, cutting the eye and mouth like that distracts from a really nice shot.
