Yes, I know it's a "snapshot", but I like the feel of this photo. Most of my photography is of family, vacations, etc. Always trying to improve the composition of shots of those types. Title for this shot came from a ski shuttle bus I saw that said POW POW IS SHWANK! means fresh powder on the mountain is desirable. Photo taken at 10,500' of my eleven year old son. Looking forward to your comments...

This is a nice shot, but I think it would have worked better with a different color. Maybe some cool blue tones instead of the yellowish color?

This is WONDERFUL!!!!!!!! My favorite thing in the whole world to do is hike up mountains. This makes me SO want to be there! Beautiful use of duotones!

warm tones dont really work for a winter shot - try using blue with this.

I'll bet this looks really stunning in color. Person is really underexposed. Frankly, the composition was very strong, but the person took away from the undulating landscape and the subtle tones in the background.
