Greetings from the critique club. I'm sorry this image didn't score very well. From your comments I see that you predicted a low score because of its abstract nature and I must disagree. Abstracts can be very lovely and score very well here when done well. What I feel this shot is missing is any semblance of composition. As a photographer, it is your job to drive the viewers eye through your image with your careful choice of composition. With this image, since there is no COI (center of interest) - which doesn't have to be in the center btw - I find my eye wandering right off the image almost immediately. I agree that the texture is nice, but perhaps you could have found a swirly spot, or added another element or something to improve the composition overall.
