to me, it's too noisy and the light is really harsh

cute - i would've liked to have seen the entire face of the mom maybe, but overall a good shot :)

I think this would work better with less grain. Softer skin would come through.

What a beautiful photo; I just love those expressions. I like the overly exposed face and the graininess gives it an extra mood-element. Perhaps too heavy on the grains though; I don't know. I think the tight crop is nice and the composition as well. Nicely done!

I like this. Nice capture and the use of grain really works well. You'll want to have this printed and framed for the mother and child.

The extra grain just oesn't do it for me. Love the composition and subject poses, but feel the photo is a little too flat imo.

I think you are trying for a soft effect, but the graininess is a little too much.

i like the concept but the grain hurts this image IMHO. 5

What a wonderful picture. My favorite photos are of people so this really appeals to me. It comes across overexposed on my screen and noisy - is that an intentional decision for your presentation? I like it better with some distance from my screen and the longer I look at it - the more I like it so I hope folks give it a good study.

Very natural and appealing capture. Like the expression in both their eyes and her smile. Also like how you cropped it...it's nicely tight and concise. I think he grain works in this instance...makes it kind of dreamlike. 8

I'm ok with the film grain but would have liked it better pulled back a bit.

Most unusual colour tones. Works great.

I like the treatment here. THe tones work. The highlights are a little too bright, and I would prefer to see the entire chin. I like the "feeling" of the photo. Very nice moment. Relaxed and natural.
