 One of the resident \'gators at the Greenville Zoo. He looked happy.

Post Processing: crop 1450x1450; in layers, copy bg in overlay mode 75% opacity; flatten image; in layers, copy bg in normal mode 100% opacity, apply gaussian blur, erase around alligator, touch up edges of gator; copy bg in soft light mode 50% opacity; flatten image; in layers, copy bg in normal mode 100% opacity, adjust hue and saturation; in layers copy bg normal mode 75% opacity adjust levels; flatten image; scale image; apply USM; save.

i think this would look really good cropped down to give more focus to the head...i realize that would kind of ruin the square thing

Nice shot of the Gator! Like the position on the rock. I shoot a lot in the Florida Everglades and see and take lots of photos of them.
