I really love that novel, it has always been one of my favourites.
I agree that probably most of people never heard of it, and so missed the perfect match between this moving tale and your photograph.
Very well done! |

I gave you a 10 on this - it's great, both technically and for the story. I'm sure a lot of people haven't read the book, so they didn't get how perfect this image was to the story. Great job, and way under-rated. It's in my favorites.

A very good illustration of an excellent book, but difficult to picture. I think you made a great photo. |

Thank you Lesley for the extra note. While I continue to only be able to reach the top 20, comments like yours during the voting, and by people such as you whose work I admire, make it all worth it. |

I understand the meaning of the treadmill, but I am not sure if those who haven't read the book will get the meaning. As a photo, your treadmill was definitely well lit and contrast is great. The petals are a nice touch. 6 |

This is one of my favorites of the challenge, You executed a very moody photo without anything alive in it. I didn't read this book but I believe it was about a mouse? Great interpretation. 10 |

oh, wow. Well-done. The faded flowers are the perfect touch. It's what Charley would photograph, if he had a camera. |
