| I absolutely love your idea. Composition is fine. The picture looks a little dim and murky, particularly the sand. Perhaps some sharpening might help. I felt that you set this up well enough that the note near the shoe is not needed. Very creative take on the challenge, bravo. |

| Interesting idea. Since "Footwear" is the challenge, more illumination on the shoes would be better - try fill flash and/or level adjustment to bring the shoes out of the darkness. |

some contrast would have helped this image. it needs some rich shadow and some "cut"

| a little too dark, if shoes are the subject should be better lighted... light painting maybe? |

| Creative shot. I would've shot it a bit closer so the note is readable. |
