 I'm pretty pleased with how this has come out, I've been experimenting with reverse mounted lens for a while but have had trouble getting deppth of field right and decent light balance.

Probably not interesting enough a macro to get a high mark but I'd be happy as long as it tops 5.0 average!!

Lime flavoured Jello (except we call it jelly over here in the UK) and some feathers from the beach.

Reverse Mounted 18-55mm lens. Set to about 28mm.

Camera defaults to f0 when it con't find the lens so aperture was set manually on the lens itself to f36.

Onboard flash with a desk lamp as additional light.

Just cropped, resized, a little usm and the yellows adjusted to make the green jelly greener.

wow, I guewss you guys really hated this shots!! even doing wrse than images which didn't even have two of the required items in it!!!!!

Shame cos I really like it, STILL. I think the feathers look really good in macro, theres so much texture to them whic we don't see normally and the green jello I liked because it is so vivid but also has distinguisahble texture in the form of air bubbles.

I don't like this photo at all. The narrow focus plane does not help this photo. The jello is very washed out and undefined.

could not even tell if that really is green jello in the background - could be anything. Poorly focused throughout - there should at least be one point of an image that is in sharp focus.
