"Jell-O Martini with Peanut Butter Olive" is a nice addition into the Pick Two challenge. I remeber flipping through the challenge and looking at your shot and thinking what a perfectly shaped peanut butter olive. The smoothness you were able to make it pretty awesome in itself.

The image itself is very attention grabbing, pretty much the colors demand your attention. I don't know if I would have scored it higher with a white background but I can see how many voters probably would have preferred the white background (just based on past challenges). I kind of liked the muted feel, where nothing is too flash like a lot of martini shots are; it feels very appropriate for the subject. Also I am glad you don't have any flash spots on the glass. I am surprised you did not center the shot or place it more off centered, it just feels right in between. Overall the shot was interesting and the olive really demanded attention. Good work!

i messed up big time and didn't get the color profile right for the web. but did submit last min.

it was fun anyway and thanks to everyone for there comments.

just had some on the colors and choice of backround it should've been white but it was way rushed and i didn't have the time to even change my papper color in the hanger.

so yeah thanks much for the comments just thought i would clairify. and tell you all you are most sharp for catching my slip ups and giving some great constructive crit.

Nice idea and elements. I think that a white background would be better, preserving the brilliant green of the jello rather than muddying the color, and the peanut butter could still be made to carry the orange.

A little dark. Another source of light might have been in order.

Some clever lighting would have given this more life. Great idea though!

Very creative! The background color does not add to this, though - to me it renders the shot a little "flat".

I like your choice of background color. The lighting is good and you did an awesome job shaping that olive. Well done

I think this would have worked better with a white background.

Very clever. I'm glad you told us that the olive was peanut butter. :)

composition is good, lighting just a bit flat for my taste. 6

This is nice and creative. The lighting could use some work, it's a little dull.

This was a good idea and it's set up so the pb cherry and jello look good. The major problem with the picture, to me, is the color. Looks like there is an orange color cast. That would be ok but in this case, it makes the jello look dull and gives a general dull look to the rest of the frame.
If you cover the front of the tripod with a black foamboard or cloth, you will cut down the reflection.

the background color is not a good choice in my mind. It just makes the image kinda muddy looking.

Shaken, not stirred. :) Nice job (assuming the olive is really peanut butter or has PB on it).
