What happened here?
Most of my highest rated picture ended up in top 10.
This was my only "9" I gave (no tens this time) and it ended up in 137!!!!??? Should have got a ribbon!
This is a great picture. Don´t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Yucky to look at, but well rendered tones.

Nicely composed and certainly interesting. I wish the fly were more in focus.

Uhm... eww? Very clever idea for the challenge, wish it was a tad sharper focus (although too sharp would be kind of gross). Nicely composed too.

I would REALLY like this if the fly was slightly more in focus.

Gross! I can't imagine the mindset that motivated you to use that particular line!

Great idea, and nice image. I wish your DOF had been not so tight. This particular shot would, in my humble opinion, look better if the mouth were in sharper focus.
Kudos for branching out from the typical "literary" concept.

Compositiona and light are great. Superb concept. I just wish the fly was in sharper focus.

if the fly could have been SHARP this would have been a winner, but with such a shallow depth of field, i hesitate to give it a nine
