| Looks like one of the creatures staright out of Picasso's Geurnica....a lamb, goat or bull that came back reincarnated as a Cypress tree. That or the Elephant Man. |

| This is a great shot. I love when a piece of nature is captured in such a way that it looks like something other than what it is. Yes, you can tell ther is bark in the photo, but it has more of a feel of a piece of modern art than of a tree root. What I find particularly interesting are the areas of red...almost like blood. |

| you've got a great eye. that's a really cool looking root. nice colours and texture to this pic. subtle black border was a good choice too. The bottom left corner inthe only part i don't love, since the root falls off a bit. pretty hard to avoid, since you needed to keep the 'image' in the frame. nice job |

| I really like that shape in the centre, I woul have cropped off the bottom to let that particular abstract fill the frame, but this is still really cool. You have captured details and textures well, and I like the focus too. |

| Reminds me of a Picasso painting, I like it a lot. I would love to see more shots at different times of day especially when the light is a bit warmer, i.e evening. Excellent eye. |
