Great deep of field here and good color tones. The composition works well with the way the snake is positioned.

A Ball Python! We used to have one here, his name was Baby, he was the sweetest thing. Won my daughter a first prize in a Science Fair! ;) Very nice colors, snakes can be very had to shoot in that they don't like to pose and sit still all the time. If this is your snake may I recommend getting a large table, some rocks or other props and let him choose the poses. :)
