I believe the image should speak to the subject rather than depending on a title to make the statement.

IMO, a title should enhance the photo, not be necessary to explain it.
Good contrast and detail on the cactus and I like the contrast between something we associate with heat and the snow, but the shade on the hill makes it look a little flat. It must have been a lovely spot :)

Great landscape shot but not a great "education" shot. Without the title there is nothing about this photo that makes me think of the theme.

Excellent photo, I like the contrast between the desert vegetation and the snowcapped mountain. I'll just have to take your word for it that it was a school field trip.
