Very good execution. Wish I could achieve a background like that - it really causes your subject to jump out. Only complaint it the reflection on the cover of the book, shame about that.

What a great shot. The light/white and clarity and positive message are grand. Interesting way to make the white and the cover blend while her face and eyes are so extremely clear, which is what 'understanding through reading' hopefully does.9

Lovely portrait (well lit and composed) and the book certainly makes it match the theme of the challenge, but lacks a "wow" factor for me.
