 Jeff Black (www.jeffblack.com) is one of the most underrated and unknown musical geniuses I have ever heard. My husband discovered him accidentally years ago, and I fell in love with his lyrics - and then the music. His songs are covered by country stars, yet he holds to a gospel/rockandroll style that reminds you of John Mellancamp and Johnny Cash with the lyrical heart of Joni Mitchel. I don't really want to share him with anyof you, because hes MY dirty little love affair - but he deserves more fanage than just my husband and me. :)

He was playing at a furniture store of all places... got special permission from him to shoot his show, met him afterwards and am STILL amazed by how incredible a performace he gave and how just an amazingly great guy he was. We chatted about his attendance at Johnny Cash's funeral, his wifes friendship with June Carter Cash... he met my son, and remembered his name... :)

seems arbitrary - the reasoning behind snapping the shutter at this particular moment is unclear. very little to hold the eye.
