Lights out, 2 second shutter and a flash hand held. Dodged and burned a bit up the levels. Model was my Girlfriend Hanae thanks to her for posing

Would love to see the left side with just the dark backdrop, very pixelated, especially around her eyes.

I don't think its my monitor...is the minor distortion/pixelation on purpose? I think if its is intended to create a reflection effect there needs to be a bit more distortion. Just my opinion. 7

Very nice portrait, but I don't get the title.. ? The shadows are a bit hard though, maybe try using a reflector screen next time.
