This guy here was taken Ontario Canada on the Niagara River off the point of Navy island.
This is a rare find here since we have not had any Bald Eagles here for years (1940/50) due the chemicals in the water made their egg shells soft.
The parks people imported a breeding a pair a few year s back ,so I am very pleased to have captured this guy.
The other eagle shots were taken in Squamish River BC.

If you don't mind me asking..where are the shots coming from? I'm about 15 minutes from the Missouri River in Missouri, and I'm wondering if that wouldn't be a good place to capture these guys.

Fantastic capture!! Can't wait to see more.
I'm afraid that when and if I ever see one I'll blow the exposure...or worse, I won't have my camera with me.

just wonderful Randy., I have no doubt that now you have found the nest, your shots of the eagle will grow even more breath-taking

Oh RANDY!!!!!! I can feel your exhilaration over this capture! This is AWESOME!!! Another Rando photograph in my favorites. Yep. I think I need to start a separate folder just for my favorites of your photos :)

Congratulations! This photo TOTALLY rocks!!! And so do you in being able to capture it with perfect sharpness, at exactly the right moment.

Now that the birds are returning. . .we expect regular photos like this, okay?
