 Simple concept, but took longer to set up than I first anticipated..
I painted some clock hands blue and added a few numbers to a print of Michelangelo's Creation of Adam that I lifted off Google. Then assembled the clock mechanism with the print as the background.

(After I finished this shoot I managed to get the mechanism working and now have a fully working clock. It just lacks a few numbers......)

I tried with the original gold hands but they were too close in colour and tone to the background, so I had to paint the hands. Blue is the only colour I had available, so blue it was.
...It's rather fiddle painting clock hands which are only 2 cm long (0.8")

Working method in CS2
Converted from RAW
Slight rotation.
"Selective Color" to adjust the blue hands
"Color Adjustment" to lift the Reds and Magenta's slightly.
Cropped and sized for DPC

I like the interplay between clock hands and the hands of Adam and God.
