To me, this is simply a black & white photo. Low key is characterized by few highlights. |

Interesting picture with lots going on, but the flat even lighting isn't my idea of low key. Perhaps getting closer into the table and lighting from one side so that some of the books etc stand out would have made this picture better for me. |
