Hi Matthes,
Judging from your portfolio, I suspect you have a very nice monitor. Thanks for over-looking what was more then likely, an over-exposed photo on my part. That my friend, was the luck of the draw. (wink) Anyway, to celebrate, I'm picking a new 'favorite photo' from your collection. This photo is sad to me but I really like it. I wonder how they got underwater? Flood...filling a new lake? I love the color blue and trees too. I also can respect what was probably a difficult photo to take. Being underwater scares the heck out of me. So, I'll enjoy the view while safely viewing your photo at the comfort of my desk. Thanks!
Take care,
Brad

According to the comments I suppose, that the majority of voters didn't realise, that my shot is related to the underwater world not only by the title. As you can read in my photo details, this is a real underwater shot, taken during a dive in a quarry. So it is no "fish tank", no "blue filter" and no "great strategy to get an otherwise overexposed shot to be very intriguing" as some of the commentators guessed.
The noise in this shot is because of the mostly bad visibility conditions (approx. 4-5 metres in this shot) in german lakes - the water is seldom very clear.
Thanks for your comments! |

Ein bahnbrechendes Photo! Fast niemand hat es wohl als Unterwasserbild erkannt ;-)
Trotzdem, Gratulation zum 6+ Score, Brüderchen :) |

My favourite so far. Speaks for itself and makes a very rfreshing change from greenery and macros. With slightly less noise this would have been a 10. [9] |

Beautiful... I love the shafts of light. I wonder if this is a conventional landscape which has had curves and colour adjustments, or a shot taken from the side of a fish tank? Very effective. 8 |
