Wow! What an incredible shot! One of my favorites out of the bunch... I especially like the shallow DOF combined with the razor-sharp focus in the center of the frame. I do wish, however, that the highlights (especially on the branch) were a bit more subdued. --9

Must be the new four-legged variety of insect. Sorry to be snide, but the dead bug thing doesn't do it for me. Colors are pretty good.

Great macro. i think you could have dome some colour adjustment to make the stick look less pink though.

TIP: I would improve the exposure next time to have more dragonfly on focus keeping the background blury. :)

Stunning, I love the purple tones in this picture. Very effective dof. Shame you cut off the tip of the right wing. Perhaps could benefit with a touch of sharpening. 8

With the bug being the focal point, I would have liked to see the dragonfly in better focus -- though I know that is much easier said then done.

wow, great color and contrast, however lacks originality..... TOO MANY BUGS IN THE CHALLENGE, but the picture is SO striking, I have to give it a 5, which is THE HIGHEST I have rated an insect yet.
