Great shot! Is he actually crying? A little bit better focus could have gotten you better scores, but still.

Oncamera flash tends to flatten the lighting a bit. You may want to experiment with some false tears using glycerin in an eyedropper next time. I see that your title says the hand is holding back tears so that wouln't be appropriate here.
