 Legend holds that Wild Bill Hickok was shot to death during a poker game in Deadwood, South Dakota, and that the hand he held was two pair, black aces and black eights. On that most people agree. The fifth card is not known for certain but my bet is the Queen of hearts as shown here.

Thought of the idea and had some fun covering my right hand with 'fake' blood and adjusting the camera at the same time...

Shot in Raw, processed in Photoshop with reduced saturation, cropped, resized and sharpened slightly.

The blood doesn't quite work given the focus but a good idea

what's with the blood? the challenge was hands NOT blood. too uch grodyness

nice lighting and focus. The blood throws me a bit, though. If it were a bit brighter red (oxyegenated blood) instead of ketchup color, it might bring a bit more to the image, but as it stands it doesn't draw my eye as much.
