One of my goals this year was to make 3,000 comments. This is that last comment. I searched around to find a photo that I really liked, one that would just floor me. This is such a shot. :)
I love the low key here - it's intense and subtle. The details are brought out with cunning delicacy... evoking a dark, moody, and even dangerous feeling atmosphere. Superb shot. |

good snap taken, though I believe a bit of contrast would have helped. |

Nice composition. Some brighter levels would be better and could still meet the challenge. |

Here's a picture which proves that it is still possible to shoot a good cat image. I'd crop a bit tighter on the left. |

Better than most the low key's I've seen. Nothing really seperates the cat from the BG however. |

I like pet pictures and your is great. Maybe a little change on the lighting to give a bit more contrast or highlights. |

OH GOD - this is excellent. That touch of light on the head and the right 2 whiskers. My only nit pick woul d be maybe "straighten" out that sense of tilt and rotate about 3 degrees right. Otherwise - REALLY GOOD. 8 |

Wow! This really protrudes out of the huge mound of banal pet shots. |
