| I do like how you played with this. Your title is interesting as well. I would have had the other two guys doing something, it would have made the pic more interesting. As is, it looks like a snapshot. The flame is neat and I love the rustic setting. |

| While it's true that a lot of people barbecue in their yard/garden, this area they're in looks wild enough to not convey that strongly to me. Also, I'm not sure what you did with the color in this but I don't care for it and it looks overly processed. |

| nice composition, but not sure why you used selective desaturation. it doesnt seem to serve a specific purpose |

this doesn't say garden to me. bbq in the garden? you sure that isn't just a backyard? i see no traces of garden life. :oP
in another challenge, the selective color use may have worked, but given the theme, the fire being highlighted, while a cool effect, doesn't work.

| Interesting effect. really makes the fire jump out. you should have desaturated the magenta too. |
